We learned a lot from our speakers Owen Daniel-McCarter and Monica James from Trans-life Center in June. They left good info with us. Our speaker for July will be Gustavo Varela, Program Coordinator for Project Vida which provides services to lgbt Latinos including HIV testing. They also have an Independent Latino Youth Program for homeless youth ages 18-23. We are looking forward to learning more about Project Vida and their work.
